Fernando Verdasco’s Double Backhand Analysis

In this edition of my sharing, I would like to share with you the analysis of the Spanish tennis player, Fernando Verdasco's double backhand.

The video analysis is very unique as it shows you the swing path of the racket as well as the swing path without the racket.

I would like to thank my good friend, Tomaz Mercinger, for doing this great analysis. It is truly an eye opener when we can see the swing path of a professional player when the racket is digitally removed.

What we can learn is that we are often deceived by the racket path and thought that the double backhand has a big swing. However if you observed the hand movement, it is quite simple and compact.
